snom should make a softphone for snom one
its great to have the ability to restart the system. how about an option for "right now"? ;-)
it would be nice to be able to restart the underlying o/s also. option at least.
if port 80/http is already in use (and other ports) then pbx will fail to start. this should be better indicated to the admin via a popup or log to windows/linux event log.
Another option would be if it could detect a port in use and automatically set it to another one.
service flags that are time based but can be manually overriden. Example is someone is staying late at the store. Or leaving over lunch unexpectedly.
Implement IAX2 so that snomONE can be used more easily behind NAT
The method for collecting SIP logs could be made more streamlined. I suggest something like: 1-end user dial *50 (or whatever start key) to start logging. The systems says "Logging started" 1b- snom ONE now turns on logging for this extension's IP address. 2-user reproduces problem 3-user dials *50 and the system say "Logging Completed" and emails the SIP log, the system config and some other basic info the the email ...more »
Currently snom ONE analogue device is limited to 2 for Free, 5 for Yellow and 10 for blue. This limit should not apply to FXS ports and their should be a FXS channel bank device that is supported.
It would be very good, specially for remote phones, that on the account/extension pages you could see in the list column for the IP address of the phone which is registered to each account. Troubleshooting would be way easier. The RT of a single ping from the server to the phone (with some from of hourly refresh or on demand) would also be extremely helpful.
Allow the option for hunt groups to play music as ringback
t would be nice to have virtual UNLICENCED extensions.. something with no SIP registration but can collect voicemails.
the new goto extension feature is cool! it would be great if when you goto another extension you wouldn't be "moved" to the general info but stay on the screen you are on.
As a security initiative, one entity we work with is trying to not have users share logins.
I see for domain admins we can have more than one. Is there some work around for sys admins for snom one?
